Inferencing
WALT: Practice inferencing skills.

1. What sort of text is this? How do you know?Biography, because is says what SHE does.
2. What is the purpose of this text? (to inform, persuade etc). How do you know? To talk about what being a marine biologist is like
3. Who’s the author? How do you know? Does not say but its mainly described by a reporter.
4. Why does Susan say, “It’s not all fun and games”?Because Being a marine biologist is harder and it takes a lot of time and effort
5. Why does Susan say, “But it is really what you make of it.” What does she mean? Its not all fun its alot of hard work
6. Why did Susan study longer than most people need to for a Marine Biologist?She wanted to know more about the job she was taking on.
