Today we got into groups of 4 and we brainstormed what makes tamaki special.

What does make Tamaki special?
I think that the mix of cultures and personalities make Tamaki special.
The teachers and all the staff members also make Tamaki that much more special because of all the work they put in.

Celebrations

WALT:List things down that have to do with Celebration.

What comes to mind when I think of celebrations are Birthday parties and new years with my family.Celebrations in my family are when everyone comes together and celebrates something like a birthday or a wedding.My family celebrates things by the kids getting to eat heaps of food and the adults stay outside and drink together.All the cousins play games together and eat food.Celebration means to celebrate something very important that has occured like graduating or achieving something very awesome.

Shopping is Heaven,

Gliding through all of the stores.

Shoes, shorts ,Tops and more

All the nerves set in,

All these dresses to choose from,

Hmm which should I choose?

I made up my mind,

A hoodie and cargo shorts,

No dresses for me,

I think I am done,

I walk over to the desk,

Keydens Fairytale

Keydens Fairytale.
One night, A boy named Keyden went on a road trip with his Mum,Dad and his little sister. It was raining down hard onto the cold narrow road.The dad was telling the children about all the adventures he went on with his mum and dad as a child.When the father was a child they went around the whole of America from Mexico to all the to the top of North Dakota.The father forgot to focus on the road because he was so pulled into his stories.Suddenly they heard a truck. HONK! HONK!  The father looked at the road.There was a truck right in front of them, he took a sharp turn a swerved down a hill into a tree.CRASH!.Young Keyden crawled out of the car but when he looked in he could not see him parents just his little sister Luisa in the back.The car was about to explode so he had to act quickly.He tried to unbuckle her seatbelt but it wouldn't budge he looked everywhere for something to cut the belt with, it took him a little while but he grabbed a rock and through it at the windshield and grabbed a piece of glass he cut harder and harder into the belt.The fire was getting closer.The belt snapped, Keyden quickly grabbed her.He could feel his heart pounding. Boom. Boom. Boom. He sprinted as far as he could away from the car.BOOOOMMMM!!!.The car exploded sending the two children falling to the ground.They both got knocked out on the way to the ground.Darkness sets in.
He could hear crying all around him.He opened his eyes.Blurr.His eyes started to focus.It was his sister, he jumped up and started hugging her. “We got to find mum and dad”he said in a kind and sympathetic voice.He lifted Luisa up and onto his back. “Argh” Said Keyden in a quiet voice.He looked at his hands, the glass Keyden used to cut the belt cut into his hand almost to the bone.He ripped some cloth from his shirt and tied it around his hand.Luisa eventually fell asleep on his back.Keyden slowly creeped through the mists of the freezing cold forest.Looking far and wide for his parents.The sun creeped down to the other side of the earth and the moon came out to greet us.TO BE CONTINUED.
