How to Fill the Balloon with Gas



With this experiment we are learning  how to fill a balloon with gas from a pepsi bottle.

• (what we needed for our experiment)
• A two liter bottle of pepsi
• a balloon
  Step one....
• Open the pepsi bottle

Step two.....

• get a balloon
  Step three....
• put the balloon onto the pepsi bottle

Step four ...

wait until  the gas rise to into the balloon.

Conclusion: When we put the balloon on the bottle of pepsi the gas ( carbon dioxide) escaped into the balloon inflated a little bit.

How to turn Solid to Liquid to Solid
Our experiment was aiming to turn something from soild to liquid to solid.

• (What we needed for this experiment)
• Water
• ice block sticks
• cups
• wooden spoons
• Raro
• Jug
  
  
  

Our instructions:

step one ........

• open the raro packet,
  
  step two......
• Pour the raro into the water jug.
  
  step three....
• add the water to the water jug.
  
  step four.....
• use the wooden spoon to mix the water and raro into is dissolves.

     step five.....

• Pur the liquid into the cups.

step six.........

• put the ice block stick

s into the cups.

step seven......

• Carefully put the  cups into the freezer.
  
  step eight......
  
  
• .wait until  it has turned solid
  
  then you can eat your ice block!

Conclusion:

When you  put the liquid into the freezer the cold temperature  turns it into a solid

Uncle kenneth

On Wednesday Mrs Manuyag's friend Uncle Kenneth came in to talk to us. He was telling us about his vocation which is working at APN Media with NZ Herald. It was interesting hearing all about his inspirations and his aspirations! Thank you Uncle Kenneth for coming in and inspiring us!

My speech

Kia ora my name is Petra This term for inquiry we were learning about  “If it is to be it begins with me.”                    I am going to talk about my Aspirations and Inspirations.

At the beginning of the term my aspiration was to be a lawyer because they get paid a lot of money also because  you get to help people.I wanted to be a lawyer because you get to put people who are doing the wrong thing in jail but now I want to be in the navy so I can fight for my country secondly  I want to be in the navy because I get to go in jets and stuff last but certainly not least I want to be in the navy because you get to protect  your family as well. My teacher inspired me because she teaches us  to help other people and to be kind to one and another.The Rotary Club inspires me to help people in my spare time.Sonny Fai inspires me to help people when they need it.
